Transparent weighted ranking with AI assist
Settlr first computes deterministic weighted fit scores, then uses Gemini to optionally rerank candidates and generate a short user-facing summary.
How score is calculated
- 1. Convert each factor into a 0-100 fit score.
- 2. Multiply by the user-defined weight profile.
- 3. Normalize by total weight for a final score.
- 4. Generate strengths, tradeoffs, and budget realism message.
AI usage in ranking
Gemini receives a compact candidate list and your preferences, then returns only two fields: destination order and a short summary. If the model response is invalid or unavailable, Settlr falls back to deterministic scoring automatically.
